Empowering Foundry Melt Control at Inter Foundry 2026
Oct 15, 2026

Coimbatore is famously home to over 600 foundries, making it the perfect backdrop for Inter Foundry 2026. Running parallel to Inter DieCast, this event remains the premier gathering for South India’s ferrous and non-ferrous casting sectors, and our team was thrilled to be part of the action.

Our booth (Hall B, Stall C-01) saw excellent footfall from iron, steel, and aluminium foundry operators. The overarching theme of our discussions was clear: reducing rejections and safeguarding casting quality requires robust, in-house chemical analysis. Specifically, operators were looking for better ways to:

  • Control melt chemistry precisely before pouring.
  • Verify the exact grades of incoming raw materials.
  • Confirm the final chemical composition of finished castings.

To meet these challenges, we walked visitors through our comprehensive Metavision OES lineup. For rigorous laboratory demands, we showcased the high-performance Metavision-1008i3 and Metavision-8i. For smaller operations, the compact MOSS proved highly popular, while the Metavision-MX drew significant interest for fast, mobile analysis directly on the shop floor.

As India’s pioneering manufacturer of optical emission spectrometers, Metal Power Analytical designs, builds, and supports every instrument right here in Mumbai. The strong turnout at Inter Foundry 2026 reinforces a clear industry trend: Indian foundries are increasingly prioritising reliable, locally supported analytical technology to stay competitive.
