Earlier this month, our team travelled to Monterrey for the 40th ALUMEXICO Summit & Expo, organised by the Instituto Mexicano del Aluminio (IMEDAL). The event drew nearly 2,000 professionals from across Mexico’s expanding aluminium value chain, making it an incredible platform for industry exchange.

Exhibiting alongside Control y Medición (CYM)—our dedicated sales and service partner in Mexico—we demonstrated our Metavision optical emission spectrometers (OES) tailored specifically for aluminium alloy analysis. Throughout the three-day summit, we had highly productive conversations with professionals working in extrusion, die casting, ingot production, and recycling.

Conversations on the floor consistently highlighted three critical operational priorities for modern aluminium producers:
